About TeacherLiNCTeacherLiNC (Teachers Learning in Networked Communities) is a partnership between Logotron and several LEAs who have developed the training materials. Managed by a team of IT advisors from Sandwell, Somerset, Kingston Upon Hull, Cambridgeshire, Lancashire and members of Logotron. We have worked together to create a partnership opportunity for any school or LEA who wants to provide affordable, effective ICT training designed to meet the needs and objectives of classroom teachers.About the Development TeamUrsula DanielsUrsula has 20 years experience as a primary teacher and LEA Advisor for IT. She has delivered training on all aspects of IT to teachers throughout Key Stages One and Two. In addition she has published training materials for teachers through BECTa and has been involved in a number of their ICT projects.Linda SpearLinda is senior ICT Adviser for Cambridgeshire LEA, and Chair of NAACE. She is an experienced teacher with a substantial mathematics and IT background. She has worked with teachers in schools, training them in the use of ICT n the curriculum with her team at the Cambridgeshire IT Centre (CITE).Marion LloydSenior ICT Advisor for Lancashire. Details to be confirmed. Paul Springford Paul's background is in English and library resources and information technology. He is an ICT adviser for Cambridgeshire schools, an OFSTED-trained and a qualified NVQ assessor. Paul has organised a number of successful projects using IT to support international links, and manages Sourcerer, the on-line learning centre for schools in Cambridgeshire's NGfL project. Brian SmithBrian is an experienced advisory teacher for ICT in the curriculum. He has wide expertise across the curriculum and across phases and has been instrumental in building Cambridgeshire's Local Grid, part of the National Grid for Learning.Sally EldingSally is an independent ICT consultant who tutors INSET courses and works with teachers in school. She is an expert in the fields of oracy and literacy and is particularly interested in the contribution that ICT can make to these important capabilities.
The development management team is supported by over 20 other staff responsible for design, co-ordination, finance and overall management of the project. |
